Product Application
1. Steel Cord Belt Intermediate Rubber is an uncured rubber for hot vulcanized belt splicing.
2. It is designed to use as an inter-core cord rubber replacement material in splicing steel cord conveyor belts or a tie gum in fabric belts.
3. The material is designed to bond to cured intercore rubber and wire cords in all standard grade steel cord conveyor belts, as well as fabric belt cured skim rubber and general bond improvement material for general grade fabric conveyor belts.
The ZLJ sectional has uniform pressure bag and aluminum/steel bolt and high grade aluminum platens and beams with restraining system set as standard. Such belt splicing system designed to be portable and easy to set-up and remove from the site.
We can manufacture to all sizes and pressure up to 200 psi required for different fabric belts and steelcord belts.

Advantages of conveyor belt splicing vulcanizing
There are two ways to splice conveyor belts: vulcanization and mechanical splicing. Vulcanization is mainly used to splice conveyor belts through heating or chemical treatment, The most common is to use a professional conveyor belt joint machine vulcanization head, this joint method is being adopted by various joint service companies all over the world.
The hot splicing vulcanizing is equivalent to 60%-80% of the strength of the conveyor belt itself. ( Jointing with cold viscose is equivalent to 40%-55% of the strength of the conveyor belt itself; The buckle (mechanical joint) connection is only 28%-45%). So we recommend you to choose hot splicing vulcanizing to achieve better jointing result.
Our ZLJ series rubber conveyor belt splicing vulcanizing machine has fast heating speed and cooling speed (Heating to 180℃, about 15~20 min; 180℃ cooling down to 60℃ needs about 3~5min according to different size press), which will save a lot of time for splicing process. For heating, we used rubber coated resistance heating wire, which has faster heating speed and lower electric leakage risk.
Our conveyor belt splicing vulcanizing machine use water pressure bladder which is made of rubber, it has the advantages of more balanced pressure, better scalling, no rusting risk and lower leakage risk and longer service life.
